The star player Lionel Messi declined participating in the MLS All-Star Game to spend time with his sick father since he won his sixth World Cup with Argentina. During the tournament, Messi scored eight goals and four assists, meaning that his World Cup goal tally became 21; however, Kylian Mbappe has already surpassed him as he scored 22 goals. There were some rumors about Messi’s retirement from international and club football, so one may be curious about when he will return to Inter Miami, who are two points behind Nashville SC in the Eastern Conference.
